Mercedes SLK 55 AMG

Andrew Frankel of the Sunday Times described this as "one of the sweetest, most appealing roadsters to cross my path in many years" and Top Gear's 'Stig' pronounced the SLK 55 AMG as "simply the best car I have ever driven". High praise indeed but more than justified, this 5.4 litre 360 bhp AMG is everything a driver could wish for. It has the glorious growl of the mighty AMG V8 but despite being an enormous engine for a car of modest proportions the miraculous SLK chassis maintains all of its balance and poise making this a superbly rewarding car to drive.
